We have introduced a new way to set up users, notification powered by email or text bringing users all the credentials and app information they need to get started all from a click of a link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the new innovative features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>User Management Tools<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smarter User Setup<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Code Access<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FaceID Login<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at each one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-64c6003d882cfbd0cdeced9ec7629f9a\" style=\"color:#6c757d\">User Management Tools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All app users are managed through upgraded features included in the latest version of MEX V15. These tools allow for the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Add new users to MEX<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Update User Details<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Change Password<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reset Password<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Set Regions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Invite to App<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large text-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpguide.mex.com.au\/app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/MEXContactDetails.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Contact Details of a User in MEX<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5c9c24f85c9f192c201000d9012d8ddc\" style=\"color:#6c757d\">Invite to App<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Invite to App has been added to simplify&nbsp;the user login experience. A Login notification can be sent to a user via:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Email Address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mobile Phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Email address and the mobile Phone number of each user is stored in the Users Details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large text-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpguide.mex.com.au\/app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/MEXContactInfo.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To send an invite, Click the <strong>Invite to App<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The invite to app form displays the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Server Address<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User<\/strong> \u2013 Full Name\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This will show the user selected. You can use this to select another user and send out multiple invites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Email address<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mobile number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large text-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpguide.mex.com.au\/app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/MEXInviteToAppJoeBlogs.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Actions Available on this form:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>EMAIL INVITE<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SMS INVITE<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GENERATE ACCESS CODE<\/strong> \u2013 Unique alphanumeric CODE that encapsulates the Server address, username and password of the user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-90191e16a8f213dff360f6ed045f5a23\" style=\"color:#6c757d\">Smarter User Access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the Invite to App form, a MEX administrator can send out all the invites required to get users accessing the MEX app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These invites come in the form of an email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large text-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpguide.mex.com.au\/app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/App-Invite-Email.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"object-fit:cover\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Or an SMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized text-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpguide.mex.com.au\/app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/imessage-KVHO-Updated.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:605px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Users don\u2019t need to go to the App store or memorise a long site url. Just tap the link and access MEX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2a687d9b20d464b64b50f2885d1dbbe6\" style=\"color:#6c757d\">Code Access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For added security, you can now use code access to protect sensitive credentials and MEX site addresses. This code is generated inside MEX and can be sent to users or provided to users on the go to access MEX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a new app user receives a notification, a link and code is included. Upon clicking this link the following will happen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Install App<\/strong> &#8211; If MEX has not been installed on their device, this link will take the user to the app store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Code Activated<\/strong> \u2013 A unique code attached to this link is activated and MEX is opened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto login<\/strong> &#8211; The user is automatically logged in with their credentials and connected to the correct MEX site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have logged into the app you will be met with the MEX Home Screen. Read more about<a href=\"https:\/\/helpguide.mex.com.au\/app\/how-do-i-access-mex-with-the-access-code\/\"> accessing MEX with an access code<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3c6f96c9be66fbf7df265bd4a9210f8d\" style=\"color:#6c757d\">FaceID Access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy added security and convenience with FaceID login, simplifying access to the app while maintaining industry standard data protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For older devices, Fingerprint scan functionality is substituted. Ensuring that you can still securely login to MEX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a0b02e88156147736f01fcd5ff39ab65\" style=\"color:#6c757d\">Manual Connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Connecting to the site manually can be done from the Wifi symbol in the bottom right side of the screen.
