Smarter Login

The Login process has been simplified and MEX users can get up and running in the app in no time. We have introduced a new way to set up users, notification powered by email or text bringing users all the credentials and app information they need to get started all from a click of a link.

All the new innovative features include:

  • User Management Tools 
  • Smarter User Setup 
  • Code Access 
  • FaceID Login

Let’s take a look at each one.

User Management Tools

All app users are managed through upgraded features included in the latest version of MEX V15. These tools allow for the following:

  • Add new users to MEX
  • Update User Details
  • Change Password
  • Reset Password
  • Set Regions
  • Invite to App

Invite to App

Invite to App has been added to simplify the user login experience. A Login notification can be sent to a user via:

  • Email Address
  • Mobile Phone

The Email address and the mobile Phone number of each user is stored in the Users Details.

To send an invite, Click the Invite to App button.

The invite to app form displays the following information:

  • Server Address
  • User – Full Name
    • This will show the user selected. You can use this to select another user and send out multiple invites.
  • Email address
  • Mobile number

Actions Available on this form:

  • EMAIL INVITE
  • SMS INVITE
  • GENERATE ACCESS CODE – Unique alphanumeric CODE that encapsulates the Server address, username and password of the user.

Smarter User Access

Using the Invite to App form, a MEX administrator can send out all the invites required to get users accessing the MEX app.

These invites come in the form of an email.

Or an SMS.

Users don’t need to go to the App store or memorise a long site url. Just tap the link and access MEX.

Code Access

For added security, you can now use code access to protect sensitive credentials and MEX site addresses. This code is generated inside MEX and can be sent to users or provided to users on the go to access MEX.

When a new app user receives a notification, a link and code is included. Upon clicking this link the following will happen:

  • Install App – If MEX has not been installed on their device, this link will take the user to the app store.
  • Code Activated – A unique code attached to this link is activated and MEX is opened.
  • Auto login – The user is automatically logged in with their credentials and connected to the correct MEX site.

FaceID Access

Enjoy added security and convenience with FaceID login, simplifying access to the app while maintaining industry standard data protection.

For older devices, Fingerprint scan functionality is substituted. Ensuring that you can still securely login to MEX.
