User Timeout For Inactive Users

Do note that user timeout for app users is set inside MEX in the control files in MEX v15 under login options.

From the Main Menu of your desktop MEX system, select “Control Files”. Under “Login Options” you will see a field with the label “MEX logs out when inactive for X minutes.”

This value reflects how long a user can be inactive for in minutes so update this as necessary. You can also tick the option to Enforce Login after Timeout Expires.

If you choose to tick this option, all users that have been inactive for the specified time will be pushed back to the login screen. Without this option turned on, users will only be pushed back to the login screen once all licenses are being used up.
