Setting Mandatory Fields in MEX
Mandatory fields ensure that all the data you need to gather is saved efficiently in MEX. Using the Edit mode administration tool, we can go through a form on the app and set up which fields you would like mandatory settings on.
Setting this up is easy:
- Open up the MEX app
- Navigate to the screen that you would like to make changes on
- Tap on the hamburger menu on the bottom right hand side of your device
- From the options presented in the menu, Tap on Edit Mode
- The edit mode menu will now pop up
- Tap the Mandatory fields option
- Select your Security Group
- Now you will be presented with three options:
- Clear
- Zero value allowed
- Zero value not allowed
- Select an option and tap the field you want to set this option on
- If you want to set up multiple field simply hold down your finger and drag, highlighting the areas you are making mandatory
- Close Edit Mode to save your changes
