Edit Security with Edit Mode

 

Ensuring what information, a user can access is core to MEX’s Security features. In order to set this up in the MEX App, you can use the Edit Mode security setup.

  • Open up the MEX app
  • Navigate to the screen that you would like to make changes on
  • Tap on the hamburger menu on the bottom right hand side of your device
  • From the options presented in the menu, Tap on Edit Mode
  • The edit mode menu will now pop up
  • Tap the Security option
  • Select a Security Group to work with
  • You will be met with four options:
    • Set Not Visible
    • Set Disabled
    • Read Only
    • Clear
  • Tap the security option you wish to set on a field
  • Tap the field in the form
  • This field will now be highlighted with the colour corresponding to the security option, confirming the setting
  • Continue working through the form and applying the security you need too
  • Close Edit Mode to save
